What was to be a fun filled day with an anticipated climactic end turned out to be a climactic dud for many concert goers.
Slipknot was billed as the headlining act but didn’t perform at the KISW 2009 Pain In The Grass concert on Saturday night at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, WA.
Rumor had it that it was a medical emergency of sort for the drummer. Nonetheless, for the low price of the admission to the all-day-long concert, it wasn’t too bad of a price to pay. Those who did play did a fine job of entertaining the crowd and putting on what best they could of a show with limited setup time and on stage play time.
One of my favorite band’s on the bill that day was Since October. I’d seen them once before for another one of KISW’s events and this time proved to me that they are fun to watch, and have some good songs. The guys in the band are down-to-earth as well, and gave me some time with them in the green room for a little chat.
